










The works presented in Time Machine explore the possibility of slowing down time — of engaging with and responding to its elusive and shifting nature. Time appears in varying rhythms, intensities, and forms, often beyond our control. In response, the artist embraced a process rooted in slowness and attentiveness: allowing things to unfold gradually, thinking deliberately, and working from a place of presence.
Developed over a summer marked by stillness and proximity, the sculptures emerged through an intuitive dialogue with material and environment. Rather than reaching outward, the artist chose to stay close — using what was at hand and allowing time itself to become an active collaborator.
The resulting sculptural forms are shaped by movement and duration. Some spin too fast for the eye to follow; others move slowly, asking for the viewer’s time and focus. Together, they become physical expressions of layered time — invitations to enter another tempo, to be present, and to feel time differently.

Benhuset, 2021
Time Machineis an art installation created for a unique space: the Bone House (Benhuset). For the artist collective Muskot, it was natural to take the room itself as a starting point, allowing its atmosphere and character to guide the work. By engaging with the concept of time, we wanted to explore its many dimensions—movement, memory, future. Time invites us to imagine traveling: backwards, to meet a younger version of ourselves, or forwards, into utopias or dystopias—to envision the self in a future yet to come.
